We have been shopping around for a big siding project - everything on our house needs to be done — siding, fascia, trim — super overwhelming. Obviously with such a big project, we want to be very sure that we are making the best decision we can. We had Chris out to discuss the project, go over options, show us products and we knew this was the right company for us. They are so knowledgeable and supportive, really obviously care about their customers’ ideas, budget, etc. We are excited to be working with 1st Choice Windows and Siding and finally feel relaxed about the project.read more

We just had Chris out for a consultation for replacing our siding. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. We have not yet gotten our new sliding patio door but we are excited to get it done soon! We had a horrible experience with Home Depot and had to cancel our order with them. After that, I decided to look for a local company. Helen was wonderful and Chris came and helped with so much. He gave us all the info about the process and a very fair quote. I plan to update this review once the door is finished but if you are trying to find a good company, look no further! Cannot wait for our new patio door! Thanks 1st Choice!read more

I just recently had 2 windows installed, from the first appointment to the finished product the team was friendly and professional. One of the windows we ordered was a large window going in in a 2 story living room. The plan was to have this window installed on a Friday but due to safety concerns we had to reschedule. The install team came back on Labor Day to do the install which worked great with our schedule. I appreciate the concern for safety and the wiliness to put in the extra time to do the job right. This is a local business and they are good people, would highly recommend.read more

I contacted 1st Choice Windows because of the positive reviews posted.
My first contact was with Helen and she was very pleasant and informative. Chris was my second contact and he came to my home and went over all my choices for a new sliding door. I decided to go with this company due to the friendly and informative people I had dealt with.and the products they have to offer. Ryan, the installer, was my third contact and he was very personable and did a fantastic job installing the door. We decided to go with 1st Choice Windows because their customer service is above and beyond. Helen is the nicest front “go to” person and Chris came to our house with professional window knowledge, examples, and transparency about the process. The price is similar to other quotes, but you can’t beat the lifetime warranty and supporting a local business who knows what they’re doing.read more

He did a tremendous job of explaining our options, in terms of materials available, financial aspects, and the timing/process of the project. I had called for three bids and they came in with not the lowest bid, but with a higher quality product to choose from. Better warranty a professional presentation and was on point with facts, not trying to make a sales pitch but just telling me facts, with exact numbers. The contractor is second to none in my opinion, very friendly they went above and beyond my expectations and even showed me things that were wrong with the house and fixed them with no extra charge, after all was done and the walk around, Tom had seen some corrections that I would never have seen and got them fixed and with the little things that I seen. They were very little, were corrected with no problems and made sure I was completely satisfied with the job, and I am a very satisfied customer and recommend them to anyone who is wanting siding or windows. they are spot on. Windows are a big investment so I spent a lot of time reviewing companies and trying to determine the best windows for our home. I appreciated Tom's willingness to meet with us and go over everything twice so I could feel confident about our purchase. The installers were very pleasant and knowledgeable and did a great job. 1st Choice should be your choice. We were on a tight schedule and had scheduled with another company. They could not deliver as promised, and we had lost precious time. We were referred to 1st Choice. From Helen in the office, to Chris meeting with us, and Ryan and his team doing the install, they were able to keep us on schedule. Overall happy with our experience with 1st Choice. They sat down in our home and really took some time to find out what we wanted and helped us develop a very nice custom window for our living room. After the measurements were taken they called us back to recommend a solution to a minor design challenge which we really appreciated versus them just making a choice for us. Overall, love the finished product and the installation which has given this room the update and added light that it lacked with the old windows.read more

We had a really good experience working with this company from initial meeting to final walk through. We replaced over 50 windows in our home, so this was a big job and we are very pleased with choosing 1st Choice. 1st Choice did a great job from initial consultation to final window installation. We had to replace two weather worn windows. Tom (owner) did our in home consultation giving us the best price after meeting with multiple companies. Chris (owner) met with us to sign the final contract. Just had my windows replaced by 1st Choice and I am very pleased with the results. The windows look great and I immediately noticed a difference in temperature from my old windows.
The cost was about 1/3 of the other estimates I received, plus I had a shining review from my immediate neighbor. The guys replaced 3 massive windows (7' x 7') and a sliding door in about 6 hours -- something I was sure would take two days. I was pleasantly surprised that they were done early! They cleaned everything nicely too.

1st Choice replaced all the windows in our son's home earlier this year, and it was such a positive experience that we hired them to replace 2 at our house. First of all, everyone we interacted with was personable, knowledgeable, and professional. Their windows are high quality and competitively priced. The installation went smoothly and they cleaned up when they were finished. I hold my breath when I have to select a contractor--we've had our share of bad experiences. I found 1st Choice Windows and Siding on Google and gave them a call due to all their high reviews. We had Chris out the next day to do a measurement for replacing our back door. We choose the Pro Via door, with glass. They are custom made with color options (inside and out), as well as window options. It takes sometime to get the new door as they are made back east. I am glad I waited as the door is great quality.
Kelly did the door install and was professional and did a great job. You can tell the quality from how it opens and closes, feels like a nice solid seal. The window is great, keeps out the summer heat but lets in the light.read more

They were amazing to work with. Install happened in one day and they were done by 1PM. Chris came by for the initial consultation and was beyond helpful. After dealing with Home Depot for 10 months, I was so discourage with the whole siding but found 1st Choice Siding on Home Advisor. All I can say is my house looks great! Everyone was so nice and there work was great. My neighbors keep telling us how good our house looks...I'm very happy with there work... They were great :)read more

After adopting a lovable dog a few months ago we determined that a doggy door was necessary. After buying and returning one from Home Depot I contacted 1st Choice and was thrilled! We moved into our house the summer of 2013 and quickly realized the window that was in the front of the house wasn't keeping the room warm so we decided to get it replaced with a triple pane window and we noticed an instant increase in the room temperature.
The install was done quick and seamless, there was no issues and they were timely with everything. I felt like I received great customer service from the beginning to the end of the process. I recommend them for any window and siding job!read more
